Senior Pastor Taylor Fleury
Taylor Fleury grew up in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia. His parents were saved when he was three months old and he was privileged to attend gospel-preaching churches from his earliest days. At the age of 16 he came to trust Jesus Christ as his Savior after a long spiral of sin and rebellion. Taylor went on to attend Bob Jones University where he received a degree in Christian Ministries. Taylor met his wife Jamie while attending BJU. He and his wife have spent their time together in Christian service at churches in South Carolina, Texas, and Georgia. God has blessed them with five children, Nathan, Ethan, Jana, Peter, and Tali. |
Associate Pastor Ted Garris
Ted Garris is a charter member of Calvary Baptist Church. From its beginning in 1975, He and his wife, Mary Alice, have served faithfully in many areas of church service. No matter what capacity in which they serve, their love for God, church and family is exhibited. Brother Ted has served as associate pastor of Calvary for many years, assisting with whatever needs to be done. His love for His Savior is evident in his servant’s heart and faithful spirit. In his spare time, he loves to spend time outdoors or playing with his 3 grandchildren. He also loves to fellowship with friends and family. His desire is to reach others with the gospel of Christ and show Christ’s love to everyone he meets.
