why children's ministry?

We have a great desire at Calvary to teach kids the Word from an early age. We strongly believe that the teaching of the Word will instill in children their great need for the Gospel!

Romans 10:14 ~ "How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?"
Proverbs 22:6 ~ "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it."

Regularly Scheduled Activities

Sunday School for Kids
Sunday Morning @ 9:30AM
We have Sunday School divided up into the following age groups: 2-3 yr. olds, 4-5 yr. olds, 1st-3rd grade, and 4th-6th grade.

Children's Church
Sunday Morning @ 10:30AM
Every Sunday morning, ages 4 -10 are dismissed for children's church following the song service in the sanctuary.

Calvary's Kids
Wednesdays @ 7PM
Our Wednesday Night classes are divided up into the same age groups as our Sunday School Classes

Vacation Bible School
Every summer in June or July we set aside one week for our VBS program. It is a themed focused week full of Bible Lessons, Skits, Crafts, Games, Snacks & more.

Junior Summer Camp
This year's summer camp will be on campus, June 24th-28th 2024. Check with the church office for details.
